Our family's adventure of learning about life and our Lord, through life and His Word. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Snow Day!
Strangely, we haven't had much snow this winter. It's surprising that the snow waited until February to really show itself. Both children were so intrigued with the snow...Celia especially! She is one tough cookie - she just stood there taking the cold.
Eric has been so excited all winter to take the children sledding and he jumped at the chance today! It's always funny to see toddlers all bundled up and barely able to move. :)
Sledding for the first time!
While sledding was great fun, I think we are all excited for summer!!

Behind...
I was so excited for letter E.
While we DID read our lesson books this week, we didn't do much in the way of crafts or activities. It's amazing how a few days of being sick can put you so behind on EVERYTHING! I haven't decided if we will double up next week or if we will do E over. Either way, I WILL continue to post because I love looking back on all of our past lessons. :o)
Just an update for the grandparents who follow along. :o)

Letter D - Duck
D is for Duck
We read this very sweet book, "Lemon the Duck," about a duck who needed extra special care.

Jake really took the book to heart and provided extra special care for his "Lemon" the duck. He made sure that his duck had water to drink and swim in. Never mind that the water to drink became the water to swim in...all over the floor. :)
Side note: We had a bit of a bug this week so we skipped a couple of "learning" days. But this officially completes one full month of our lesson plans! Looking forward to letter "E!"
